VACANCY: Senior Accounting Clerk in its Finance Division

The Sr. Accounting Clerk prepares, analyze and report on key financial & cost accounting data used for management decisions, profitability outcomes and accountability of the company’s resource.

The Senior Accounting Clerk is expected to have a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or other business-related field with at least two years’ experience in a financial setting.

JOB PURPOSE:

The Sr. Accounting Clerk (Report Analysis) prepares, analyze and report on key financial & cost accounting data used for management decisions, profitability outcomes and accountability of the company’s resource; supports the annual plans for OPEX, CAPEX and compile from C-Levels in finalizing for Board Approval.

Also, responsible for areas of budget preparation, budget control, cost benefit analysis and margin analysis.

The successful candidate must be collaborative, confidential, organized, result-oriented and have a relentless drive and desire to succeed in this post.

QUALIFICATION & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or other business-related field with at least two years’ experience in a financial setting with focus on analysis as well as budget and planning.

Proficient in MS Suite productivity tools, particularly budget development and formula utilization.

Ability to meet and surpass project deadlines.

Excellent analytical skills; with the ability to weigh and synthesize inputs from a variety of sources.

Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills both written and oral.

Ability to assist in development and enforcement of compliance with the company’s cost and pricing processes and procedures.

Ability to present draft proposal budgets for cost proposal reviews.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO:

Manage and report the monthly financial forecast, dashboards and KPI's.

Support the development of budget controls to achieve monthly financial targets.

Analyze the accuracy of the monthly General Ledger closing process to ensure accurate and timely financials.

Provide support for the preparation and subsequent validation of business cases for potential company product or service offerings.

Ensure the accurate preparation of the monthly recurrent statistical reports and recurrent expense reports including Other General & Administration Expenses, Allowance, and Staff Cost reports.

Assist with the preparation of the company budget and reforecasting exercise for the Capital and Recurrent Budget.

Work closely with the Finance (People Soft) Application Administrator to ensure that the department technology needs are optimized.

Preference will be given to those who meet the above requirements.
