Position Title:
Janitor/Laundry Attendant (Male Preferred)

Workdays: Monday – Friday
Working Hours: Mon- Fri (6:30am – 5:30pm)

Job Summary

The Janitor/Laundry Attendant is responsible for general maintenance and cleanliness of facility, and equipment.

Assists with industrial laundry duties as needed and perform other tasks as required. The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition.

Responsibilities

Clean designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.)

Carry out heavy cleansing tasks, and special projects (when necessary)

Notify management of needs for repairs.

Stock and maintain cleaning supply room.

Cooperate with the rest of the staff.

Follow all health and safety regulations., including wearing PPEs when necessary.

Ability to meet physical demands for an entire shift.

Qualifications

Proven working experience as a Janitor.

Ability to handle heavy duty cleaning equipment and machinery. – Wet dry vac

Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies

Ability to prioritize tasks.

Ability to comprehend and follow written or verbal direction.

Integrity and ability to work independently.

High school diploma

Valid driver license for standard vehicle

Ability to remain active for prolonged period.
