Description

Early morning departure from Belize City to the western part of the country, en route, visit a many Creole settlements that moved away from the city due to hurricanes. Located on the outskirts of San Ignacio, this classic era site is one of the most recently excavated. The initial work began in 1988 and today much of the core has been restored to reflect part of its former glory. This is an ideal site for those who prefer their enthusiasm firmly on the mainland. After lunch and sodas, on the way back to Belize City, Tour then returns to Belize City.
