Belize Sugar Industries Limited invites qualified and self–motivated individuals to submit applications for the position of:
Payroll Clerk
at Tower Hill, Orange Walk District.
The role of the Payroll Clerk is to support the payroll function by assisting with the maintenance of time keeping and attendance, preparation and processing of employee payrolls.
Qualifications and Experience
- Associate’s Degree in Accounting/Business Administration( Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/ Business Administration would be an asset)
Skills and Competencies
* Knowledge of payroll Systems
*Computer literate (Microsoft Office Suite )
* Excellent Time Management skills
*Excellent oral/written communication skills
* Possess integrity /confidentiality
*Excellent organization skills and attention to details
*Good interpersonal skills, team oriented
*Ability to multitask
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assisting the Senior Payroll Clerk with the processing, printing, checking and inputting corrections for Payrolls, Reports, Sick and Accident Payments and Statistics Information.
- Maintaining time attendance records.
- Maintaining employees records.
- Checking and updating Social Security control and reports, including completing employee claims for Social Security.
- Assisting in printing TD4 forms for employees.
- Assisting with the preparation of Attendance, Vacation and Bonus Payrolls
- Address queries on employee payments and payrolls.
- Preparation of reports for Management.
Salary will be commensurate to qualifications and experience
