IT Site Support Specialist
Tower Hill, Orange Walk
The IT Site Support Specialist provides technical support to users, troubleshooting and resolve technical infrastructure issues that include PCs, printers, network devices, servers and collaboration technologies.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in similar field
- Fluency in English both written and verbal. Ability to speak Spanish will be an asset
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
- Excellent planning and organizing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- In depth knowledge of Network topology, device encryption, anti-virus software, UTP, Fiber Cable, Windows 10 and Microsoft Office Suite
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide a high level of internal customer service.
- Maintain site’s IT inventory in Asset Inventory System and repair all IT assets as necessary.
- Maintain site standards and documentation in accordance with enterprise procedures.
- Ability to troubleshoot desktop, infrastructure issues and resolve complex problems.
- Support Enterprise mobile devices including iPhone, iPad, tablets and broadband devices
- Ability to analyze, optimize servers and workstations, perform network integration, installation and configuration.
- Work with outside contractors, project teams and internal staff to maintain and repair all IT assets.
- Work with the infrastructure team on network device monitoring, maintenance, server patching and troubleshooting LAN/WAN/VPN connectivity issues.
- Support annual equipment refresh including switch and server replacement.
Salary will be commensurate to qualifications and experience.
