Description
Selling our car and home!!
Vehicle - Chevy Venture 2004 automatic transmission (full details below). Runs awesome!
Price - BZ$1000 or best offer
We’re on a road-trip southwards through Central America, and plan on flying straight from Guatemala to Argentina.
We are wanting to sell the car in “no mans land,†between the Belize and Guatemalan, or Mexican-Belize border. We can meet you somewhere to try the car, and then we would transfer the title in no-mans land between borders.
The car is an ‘04 Chevy venture, registered in BC, Canada. The car has been our home for the past 9 months as we’ve lived in Canada, and travelled down to (currently) Tulum.
She’s been a super reliable vehicle, with ~260,000km on the clock. A quick summary:
Pros:
- fully set up for living, including full sized bed with comfy mattress.
- all cooking gear you need, including two-burner stove
- folding table and chairs come with the car
- tons of under-bed storage space
- magnetic blackout curtains for easy-to-use privacy when you sleep
- comfortable for a couple, yet uses FAR less fuel than the big vans
- it’s practically free
- save $$$ on accommodation (we can show you how to get free campsites)
Recent work done:
- brakes (front and back), right wheel bearing, transmission fluid, and tyres replaced before leaving Canada
- oil changed with semi-synthetic 3 weeks ago
Cons (mostly minor inconveniences):
- speedometer doesn’t work (a speed app on the phone works great until you get a good feel for the speed)
- passenger mirror taped in place
- drivers side window needs to be manually slid up and down
- windscreen wipers only work on full-speed
- minor cosmetic damage
Please message me if you're interested!
